Religion

Just a quick one for anyone that can help me out, i've often wondered what it is that makes a city a city and a town a town. I was always lead to believe it was to do with having a Cathedral but what other criteria are there as well as that to distinguish between the two? And on that note what makes a Cathedral a Cathedral and a Church a Church?
All answers will be truly welcome

Simply Updating

Nothing really to report, it has in fact been 4 days now since my last drink, so therefore i have very few inebriated questions to raise.

I will though mention my new Zen Garden and perhaps ask for any ideas on additions to it.
I currently am using:
A Bonzai tree,
A small fountain,
Insense sticks, and
A glass bowl that is filled with stones and a candle.
Any ideas of anything else that could fit into this enviroment without ruining its gentle meditative state?

Race around the world

Another query for you to think over.

In a race around the world, would a man in a speed boat that had wheels win, or a man in a car that can float win?

this question can also of course aply to women, no discrimanation here.

Dressing 'Old'

A question of undeniable complexiety recently came to me as i urinated in the toilets of Soar Point as recently as last week. Not a problem in any way connected to the fact i was urinating, but one that seemed to be prompted in my mind upon doing so.
And the predicament was thus:

When we grow older i believe there are two ways in which our dress code may swing;

a. We will dress as old people do now, perhaps caring slightly less about fashion, and more about the practicalities in clothing i.e the price, and does it keep me warm???

or

b. Will we continue to dress as we do now, take our own personal styles, and the styles of our generation to a certain extent, with us to be perhaps classed as 'old' by the young children of that day and age?

A conundrum i'm sure you'll all agree, an answer to this puzzle would be most appreciated

And so it begins...

And so begins my first attempt (emphasis on attempt) at a blog. Fingers crossed for future posts, i will attempt to entertain as often as possible....
